About
The Equestrian Federation of Eswatini is the sole governing body of Equestrian Sport in Eswatini.
EFE are the custodians of rules and regulations of all equestrian disciplines and are there to ensure that the sport remains with horse welfare and fair play at the core. EFE guarantees that the sport is always in line with our major regulators including Federation Equestrian Internationle, Eswatini Sport and Recreational Council and Eswatini Olympic Games and Commonwealth Association.
Our Mission
The primary focus of EFE is to raise the level of access to and participation in equestrian sport at all levels by providing services that creates growth and encourages performance excellence.

Objectives
To operate and function as the autonomous governing and administration body of equestrian sport in Eswatini
To protect horses from all types of abuse or cruelty ensuring the well-being and best interests of the horse
To promote and assist standards of performance, sportsmanship and honourable practices at all equestrian events by governing, overseeing and coordinating equestrian sport in all aspects of all disciplines as per the Code of Conduct
To promote the standard of coaching, coaches, judging, judges, officials and course designing through qualifications and experience
To promote the standard of performance by encouraging and assisting athletes in progression to advanced athlete status
To promote and assist in the grading of facilities to ensure standards are met at all equestrian events

Our Stakeholders

Clubs
A Club is a group of individuals who voluntarily constitute themselves for a common interest and purpose. A Club is a body, venue, equestrian centre or other entity with or without show-holding facilities who is registered with the Federation.

Coach
Someone with recognized certification to coach equestrian disciplines recognized by the Federation

Governing Bodies
Local governing bodies of which EFE are members and follow strict protocol to - including Eswatini Sports and Recreational Council and Eswatini Olympic Games and Commonwealth Association

Athlete
A person who is registered with a registered Club and who rides in one or all recognized disciplines at any level at any EFE Recognized Event

Trustees
A Trustee is an individual entrusted with the care of the Federation and shall assume responsibility in the event of collapse of the Federations operations and/or liquidity and/or dissolution of the Federation

Regional Bodies
EFE falls under the FEI Group 9 region which includes the following countries:
Eswatini. South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Kenya, Angola, Congo, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Senegal, Zambia
EFE is also a member of ACES - The African Confederation of Equestrian Sport

Individual
An Individual is not an Athlete, Official or Coach but is a person who wishes to become a member of the Federation. Individuals may include parents, guardians or people interested in supporting the objectives of the Federation. Individuals may not register directly with the Federation but must register through a Registered Club

Owners
Individuals that either own show venues or horses but do not necessarily compete or ride.

FEI
Federation Equestrian Internationale - the global governing body of equestrian sport.
The head office is situated in Switzerland.
EFE is a proud member of FEI and gains incredible support from the FEI Solidarity Department through funding of various developmental projects

Refers to judges, course designers, and stewards with recognized certification who are members registered as Officials with the Federation. Officials include:
